Mahopac Middle School's future scientists, engineers, and artists have been hard at work on their projects for the 2024 MMS STEAM Fair. Students presented their projects today to the next generation of STEAM Fair presenters, the 5th grade students from Mahopac elementary schools.

Due to impending inclement weather, all afterschool activities in the Mahopac CSD are canceled for today, Tuesday, January 9th. In addition, due to the overnight forecast there will be a 2 hour delay tomorrow, January 10th. Should any further communication be needed, it will be sent tomorrow before 8:00 a.m..
Mahopac Middle School held a surprise party for a pillar of the school yesterday. Maryann "Queenie" Ferraro was recognized at the December Board Meeting for over 49 years of service to Mahopac's schools and got a final surprise send off by her Middle School family yesterday.

The Board of Education recently adopted the 2023-2024 School Budget which carries a 4.15% budget to budget increase and a 2.81% tax levy increase which is tax cap compliant. Please remember to vote on May 16, 2023 from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. at Mahopac High School.
The second annual SEPTO Together We Thrive Awards event took place last week at Sycamore Park. Families, administration, Board Of Education members and Officers from the Carmel Police Dept. were all invited to this celebration of all the incredible accomplishments of teachers, staff and students.
