The Mahopac Central School District was filled with energy and excitement as students returned to school for the 2025-2026 school year. From the youngest kindergartners taking their first steps into their classrooms, to middle and high school students reuniting with friends and teachers, the first days were marked by smiles and school spirit.
Interim Superintendent of Schools Frank Miele joined principals and teachers in greeting the students, sharing his enthusiasm for what promises to be a year of growth, opportunities and success. Faculty and staff across the district had worked tirelessly over the summer to prepare classrooms, hallways, fields and facilities so students could begin the school year in welcoming and well-prepared learning environments.
