Rounding out the evening at June's BOE meeting was a celebration of three of Mahopac's board members who have served the community faithfully in their roles for years. Thank you to Lucy Massafra, Michael Martin, and David Furfaro, and good luck with your future endeavors!
The June Board of Education meeting celebrations continued on Tuesday with the tenuring of many of the great teachers who have joined the Mahopac CSD in recent years. Congratulations to all of Mahopac's newly tenured teachers!

Yesterday Mahopac's special classes ventured out onto the Mahopac High School track and field. MHS skills students manned stations ranging from bowling to water balloon throwing, and concluded with a sweet, icy treat. Thanks to everyone who participated!
This Saturday is Relay for Life, come join us at the Mahopac High School Track as the Mahopac community celebrates survivors and the memory of those we've lost. We hope to see you there!
Mahopac Middle School's Eighth grade class had the opportunity to connect with high school clubs this morning at Springfest. The students roamed the MHS gyms and met with representatives of dozens of clubs, considering which organizations they might want to join next school year.
Tomorrow night, the Mahopac CSD Board of Education will hold a regular board meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Mahopac High School Auditorium. Superintendent Christine Tona will host Community Connections at 6:30 p.m. outside the MHS auditorium, before the board meeting.
Thank you Mahopac community for passing the 2024-2025 budget and both the bus purchase and capital reserve propositions.

This year's Penny Wars has concluded and Mahopac Middle School students managed to raise a staggering $2191.25 for the JennaJackPack Project. After some friendly competition between every team and grade level, Team 6C came out ahead in the final count! Congratulations to all who contributed for making a positive difference.
